Privacy Policy
Myrmidon Digital LLC ("we", "us") runs myrmidondigital.com and an internal publishing tool that posts to our own social media accounts. This policy covers both. Our apps (Carafe, Journeybook and Scent Senpai) each have their own privacy policy, linked from the app and its store listing.
This website
Contact form
If you send us a message, the form collects your name, email address, the service you're interested in and your message. It is delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit. We use it only to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share it.
Visit counts
We count visits with Umami, which we host ourselves. It sets no cookies and stores no personal identifiers, so we see totals such as page views and referring sites, not individual visitors.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. We set no cookies and show no ads.
Our social media publishing tool
We use a self-hosted publishing tool to draft, schedule and publish posts to social media accounts that Myrmidon Digital owns, through the official APIs of Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.
- It connects only to our own accounts. It is not offered to the public, and no one else can sign in or connect an account.
- When we connect an account, the platform gives us an access token and basic profile details (account name, ID and picture). These are stored on our own server and used only to publish our posts and read the performance of those posts.
- It does not collect information about other people who view, like or comment on our posts, beyond what the platform shows us about engagement with our own content.
Data deletion
To remove the publishing tool's access to an account, revoke it in that platform's settings (for Facebook and Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites). To ask us to delete anything we hold about you, including contact form messages, email myrmidondigital@proton.me. We'll confirm once it's deleted, within 30 days.
Retention
We keep contact messages while we're discussing work with you and delete them when they're no longer needed. Access tokens are deleted when an account is disconnected.
Children
This site and our publishing tool are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
